The Sounders return to Starfire Sports Complex for training Wednesday, exactly three weeks and a day before the scheduled start of the 2010 season.
I'll attend practice and therefore should finally be able to generate some information on my own after a couple of weeks of just being middleman for club releases.
But until then, here are highlights from yet another release from the club, dealing mostly with the three remaining preseason games:
Seattle plays at Vancouver in the second match against the Whitecaps FC this preseason. Seattle won, 3-2, on February 11 in Casa Grande, Arizona, getting a goal from Lamar Neagle and two from Sanna Nyassi, including the game winner in the 88th minute. The game Saturday begins at 4 p.m. at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, B.C. with a live blog available on SoundersFC.com. Tickets are available online at ticketmaster.ca or by calling 604-280-4400.

Tickets are available at www.SoundersFC.com, by calling 800-745-3000, all Ticketmaster outlets and the Qwest Field Box office. General Admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (6-17). Children under the age of six are free.
Proceeds from the match will benefit the team's four community partners: Boys and Girls Club of Washington State, Save the Children, Seattle SCORES and Washington Youth Soccer. Following the match the teams will sign autographs from the field.
Seattle will play its final preseason match versus the Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado on Friday, March 19.
The MLS regular season begins March 25 with Sounders FC hosting Philadelphia Union in the MLS First Kick 2010. The game will be televised live on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
