Miguel Montano, an 18-year-old striker from Colombia, is expected to arrive in Seattle on today and begin working with the Sounders on Wednesday.
“Then he has to prove that he deserves to be here every day,” general manager Adrian Hanauer said. “And again, he’s 18. So, we don’t anticipate Miguel begin a player that’s going to be here and jump into the starting lineup or have massive impact from day one. He was a young player, we see enormous potential. But so far it’s potential.”
