Here's a link to a very good UK interview with Freddie Ljungberg, discussing his time in America and his recent signing with Celtic FC.
I thought among the highlights was this interesting quote on MLS: "The American league doesn't get the credit it's due, and it's certainly not as easy as it's made out to be."
With that said, Ljungberg goes on to add that he signed with Celtic because he wanted to get back to a culture where football matters. I've seen that portrayed as a slam at Seattle, but I just don't read it that way in context. Acknowledging that Celtic matters more to Scotland that Sounders FC matters to America hardly strikes me as a slam.
