It's gone final: Timbers 2, Sounders 0, before a sellout -- and apparently well-behaved -- crowd of 3,100 at Starfire Sports Stadium.
Kenny Cooper got the final goal in stoppage time, beating Keller while alone in the box.
That set off an ongoing celebration by the Timbers Army, which is still celebrating on the far side while Sounders fans head for the exits.
The Cascadia Summit continues Saturday with a supporters summet and coaches forum at noon, and then another at 4 p.m. Saturday when Portland meets the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The Sounders return to action against Vancouver at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Sounders seemingly stronger side, but score sticks stubbornly at 1-0.
2nd half: Has kicked off.
Halftime: Portland 1-0. I'll pass along stats as we receive them. Generally a pretty even half, with Timbers getting the one breakthrough maybe a bit counter to the run of play.
Stats: Seattle 7 shots, Portland 4. Seattle 3 on goal, Timbers 1. Corners two each. Saves Portland 3, Sounders one. Fouls Portland 7, Seattle one. Offsides three each.
Rain continues to fall, though more lightly than at other times during the evening.
21st minute. Timbers go up 1-0. Jorge Perlaza scores on put-back of shot blocked but not controlled by Keller.
Kickoff: Game has begun. I'll post all scores and halftime and postgame information here. For more regular updates, please hop over to Twitter.
Teams take field: Sounders in traditional rave/blue. Yes, blue. Timbers in white/dark green.
Lineups: Sounders going with GK Keller; D Riley, Parke, Hurtado, Gonzalez; M Fernandez, Evans, Alonso, Zakuani; F Montero, Nkufo.
For Portland: GK Perkins; D Purdy, Goldthwaite, Brunner, Wallace; M Zizzo, Lowry, Jewsbury, Hall; F Cooper, Perlaza.
Hour before kickoff: A few Sounders are out warming up. The Sound Wave band seated on one end. It's beginning to feel like a soccer match is about to be played.
Gates open: It's a dark and damp evening at Starfire Sports Stadium. However, the early-arriving fans have been let in and they seem set on having a good time as the storied Sounders-Timbers rivalry revives, this time in MLS.
Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. Unfortunately, there is no local radio or TV, but there will be a videocast at SoundersFC.com.
Naturally, this blog will be open all evening for pregame, in-game and postgames reports. And I'll also try to keep even more current on Twitter: donruiztnt. (Just click on the link at left.) And, of course, this blog has always been only as good as your comments, so we're eager to hear from you tonight and all season long. Welcome back.
