Now that the Sounders have lived up to their promise of scheduling one major friendly match this season, with the announcement of Manchester United visiting this summer, has the club settled on a similar plan in future season?
No decision yet, according to general manager Adrian Hanauer.
"I think it's probably premature," he said. "We will assess things at the end of the year. We'll talk to our fans, find out what they want or wanted. I've lurked on the message boards occasionally and I see people complaining that we only have one friendly this year. I image it's closer to the formula that we would go with, but we'll figure it out at the end of the year."
