Evans OK, Rosales maybe; Zakuani, White home

The Sounders have finished training for their match with the Timbers tomorrow. Afterwards, we asked coach Sigi Schmid about whether Steve Zakuani and/or O'Brian White might be able to attend the game, and whether Brad Evans and/or Mauro Rosales might be able to play in it.

On Zakuani and White) I don’t know yet on either one. That’s something that we’ve reached out for them. We’re sort of letting them decide how they feel, whether they want to come or they don’t want to come. It all depends on their physical status as well, because the doctors are requiring a certain amount of rest for them right now as they recover. But they’re both making headway and hopefully within the next week or so – the next week to two weeks – we’ll definitely be seeing them here. … They’re both at home now (from the hospital).

On Evans and White) Evans felt all right coming into training. Mauro felt much better. So, we’re going to see how he feels (Saturday) before we make a final decision. But Evans feels pretty good; I think he’s OK.
