The Sounders' 2-1 win over Kansas City last night was the 150th MLS win for coach Sigi Schmid. His reaction when asked about the milestone:
"I wasn’t even focused on that. I was close to that but I completely forgot 150 certainly in the euphoria of the game. It just means that I fortunately have gotten to coach a lot of players in this league. I love the guys I’ve coached and put in an effort for me. Kei Kamara did a great job when he was with me in Columbus, Sasha Victorine was great for telecast for me in L.A. and you know, it’s the players that do the business for you. I’ve been fortunate enough to have some good players play for me."
