Sounders Reserves beat Quakes 2-1

Seattle beat San Jose, 2-1, in an MLS Reserve League match tonight at Starfire Sports Stadium in Tukwila.

The Sounders moved ahead on an Earthquakes own goal after a Phillip Lund cross into the box. Newly signed Will Bates concluded the scoring.

San Jose's lone goal came from Hunter Gorskie in the 90th minute.

The Quakes' starting lineup included three former Sounders: Mike Fucito, Cordell Cato and Andrew Duran.
