Final: Orlando City 2, Sounders Reserves 0. Both goals by Dom Dwyer. Joseph and Ianni go 90 minutes; Zakuani goes 55 for Seattle.
"It was nice to get a game, to give our fans down here a chance to see us play," Reserves coach Ezra Hendrickson said. "Unfortunately we didn’t perform well today, we didn’t give them a good showing at all. The way we played today, that’s not Sounders football. I thought it got a little bit better in the second half, showed a little more effort. But we started off the game just slow, kind of lackadaisical and we got punished. We made a mistake in the first half, and they punished us. The second half started a little better, but they go up 2-0 and we were never able to get back into the game."
I'll be back with more reaction the game and the setting at Cheney Stadium.55' GOAL, Orlando again and Dwyer again. City, 2-0.
Attendance: Officially 2,174 and estimate that Mother's Day might have kept about 1,000 away.

Second half: ... has just kicked off.
Halftime: Orlando City, 1-0. Dwyer continued to be dangerous all afternoon. Estrada, Zakuani and Ianni had the best chances for Seattle.
Shots 7-5 OC; on goal 4-1 OC; fouls 6-4 OC; corners 6-3 OC.
First 15 minutes: Domination by Orlando City so far. Maybe unlike a normal MLS Reserve League match, these guys see this as a chance to prove something about themselves and USL Pro.
4th minute: GOAL Orlando city. SKC-loaned Dom Dwyer scores from close range. Lions, 1-0.
First kick: ... has been struck. We're under way. Sounders in cyan/cyan, Orlando in purple/purple.
Lineups: Sounders starting GK Hahnemann; D Remick. Ianni, Hurtado, Matula; M Caskey, Joseph, Rose, Zakuani, Zavaleta; F Estrada. Reserves Herric, Ochoa, Lund, Morris, Wingo, Crook, Langston. (The non-first-team roster guys are from Sounders academy.)
Orlando -- the USL Pro affiliate of Sporting Kansas City -- is starting Gallardo; Burke, Songo’o, Valentino, Boden; Watson, Duke, O’Connor, Molino; Dwyer, Chin.Pregame: I've seen scores of baseball games at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, but this will be my first soccer match here. First impression: pretty good. Better than I expected. Not a trace of infield dirt on the pitch, although you can see a strip of the home-plate circle and third-base line.
At 4 p.m., I guess attention will shift from the stadium to the game: Sounders Reserves vs. Orlando City of USL-Pro.
