Alonso, De Rosario and DeLeon out for Wednesday

The Sounders have come off the practice pitch for the last time before their return to MLS action Wednesday night, when D.C. United visits CenturyLink Field.

The top news today was coach Sigi Schmid indicating that midfielder Osvaldo Alonso probably won't be ready to go, but that midfielder/forward Lamar Neagle and right back DeAndre Yedlin probably will.

Meanwhile, D.C. United has its own personnel issues, as the club tweeted today that Dwayne De Rosario will miss the match with a right hip flexor strain, and Nick DeLeon will be out with a right ankle sprain.

Also, still no official word on the possible return of midfielder Mario Martinez, but the vibe seems to be that the light on that deal might be flickering out.

Back with more soon.
