Dempsey, Traore not traveling to Colorado

The Sounders have concluded morning training at Starfire and this afternoon will fly out for their Saturday night match in Colorado.

Designated player Clint Dempsey will not be making the trip, due to his lingering hamstring issue.

"He's making progress, he's getting better," coach Sigi Schmid said. "But for him to travel at this stage is still probably a little early."

Defender Djimi Traore won't travel either. But things were less certain with reserve goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann and defender Leo Gonzalez.

"Marcus was better," Schmid said. "We wanted him to do a little bit and then sent him in because he's just recovering from a little bit of flu. ... Leo we'll talk to went we go inside, because he went through more today than we expected because he hadn't felt as good on Thursday and felt better today."
