Sounders updates: Starting keeper, EJ, Oba, USA

The Sounders have concluded Friday training at Starfire. Among the highligths:

* Coach Sigi Schmid did not announce a decision regarding the Sounders starting goalkeeper Sunday at Portland. The decision is between No. 1 Michael Gspurning, who has given up nine goals in two games; or veteran reserve Marcus Hahnemann.

* Eddie Johnson has returned to Seattle after suffing a groin injury while with the U.S. national team. Johnson will not play Sunday, and Schmid had no reliable timeline for his return.

* Obafemi Martins was held out today, but Schmid indicated that was precautionary.

* Schmid said he knows of no Sounders-related comings or goings that could folo the U.S. national team's match against Jamaica at 3:30 p.m. today. Seattle's Brad Evans is with the national team; Clint Dempsey and now Johnson are not.
