Here are some Sounders personnel updates, given by coach Sigi Schmid after the club's training session today.
On the return of national team member Brad Evans: Brad’s going to go straight in to Dallas. There’s no need for him to fly back in today and turn abound and fly to Dallas tomorrow, so he’s meeting us in Dallas. … He should (be available to play). It was good that he only had to play 55 minutes, so that was good. … He doesn’t need long training (before returning to starting role). It’s just a matter of how he feels physically.
On health updates: Eddie did what we wanted him to do today. So did Clint. We wanted to make sure that he avoided contact, but he feels better carrying the arm. It’s basially a pain-type of thing. Eddie feels better as well, so like I said he did what we wanted him to do. And Oba did a little bit and we’ll check on him tomorrow. … He didn’t do as much today as we thought, but he did a lot in training on Monday.
