AO Tacoma hosts inaugural viewing event

Happy to pass along some news from AO Tacoma:

AO Seattle, Tacoma’s Wingman Brewers and Golazo will be joining the 110th chapter of the American Outlaws at its home pub as the USMNT prepares to take the pitch for its first match of the year. If you just weren’t able to get down to the StubHub Center in Carson, CA, to support the Yanks, you can head on over to Doyle’s. Just don’t forget your colors or your voice.

While US soccer supporters had for some time looked to create a chapter of the American Outlaws in the South Sound, it wasn’t until last summer that in response to the question of club or country, local supporters answered: Soccer. Soccer in our community. Soccer in and for Tacoma. Things began to move quickly after that and as of the World Cup Draw on December 6, 2013; Tacoma had its own official chapter.

The mission of the American Outlaws is “to support the United States National Soccer Team through a unified and dedicated group of supporters. UNITE & STRENGTHEN”. AO Tacoma has embraced this mission and seeks to unify a dedicated group of supporters in its own community while seeking also to help unite the I-5 corridor, positioning itself to directly support the efforts of AO Seattle and Portland’s AO PDX.

AO Tacoma looks to pack Doyle’s Public House, the South Sound’s premier soccer pub to the rafters on Saturday, February 1st at 2pm and is calling all Outlaws, soccer aficionados and anyone else who’ll lift pints with what ESPN called “a raucous group of U.S. supporters”. ###Event Details:Who: American Outlaws Tacoma Chapter With American Outlaws Seattle, Wingman Brewers and GolazoWhat: Inaugural chapter celebration and USMNT v.
