RADIO: 97.3 FM.HEAD TO HEAD: The Sounders lead 8-2-4 overall and 4-2-2 at Chivas, including a 2-1 win there on April 19. Seattle has won six straight in the series and is unbeaten over the last 12 meetings. The teams will conclude the season series Sept. 27 at CenturyLink Field. NOTES: Seattle tops the Major League Soccer standings, while Chivas is last in the Western Conference. … The Goats haven’t scored since July 20. That 546-minute scoreless streak is the longest in MLS this season and fourth-longest in league history. They are last in the league in goals, goals per game and goal differential. … Chivas will be without goals leader Erick Torres (14), who is on international duty, and their assists leader Mauro Rosales, a former Sounder who was traded to Vancouver. Torres also leads the team in shots, shots on target, fouls caused, fouls suffered and offsides. … Seattle’s Marco Pappa also is away with the Guatemala national team. … The Sounders are unbeaten (2-0-1) in their last three, while Chivas is winless (0-6-1) over its last seven. … Former Seattle central defender Jhon Kennedy Hurtado made his Chivas debut Sunday after being acquired in a trade from Chicago. Former Sounder Nathan Sturgis also is on the roster. Central defender Eriq Zavaleta is with Chivas on loan from Seattle, but terms of the loan prohibit him from playing against the Sounders. … Chivas is last in MLS with an average home crowd of 7,436.
