Reign: USA women vs. Brazil in Seattle

Here’s the word from the club:

Seattle Reign FC announced today that the club has begun accepting deposits for 2016 Season Ticket Memberships.

In a unique arrangement with U.S. Soccer, with a deposit of $50 fans will receive a pre-sale code for early access to purchase tickets to the U.S. Women's National Team's (USWNT) Victory Tour match against Brazil at CenturyLink Field on Wednesday, October 21 at 7 p.m. PT. In addition, fans placing a deposit will receive a limited edition #SRFCUSA scarf and gain automatic entry into a drawing to attend an exclusive pre-match party hosted by Reign FC at THE NINETY before the USWNT match.

“The fans in Seattle and Washington State mean so much to me - I am so excited for the opportunity to play with the USWNT in my hometown,” said two–time World Cup golden glove winner and Reign FC Goalkeeper Hope Solo. “I’ve been playing soccer for 30 years in Washington State and dreamed of winning a World Cup since I was a kid. Being able to bring the USWNT Victory Tour to Seattle and share it with my friends, family, and fans is a dream come true.”

Reign FC’s Rapinoe and Solo were both key members of the USWNT World Cup winning squad. Rapinoe played 462 minutes and started a total of six matches. Her two goals lifted the USA over Australia in their 3-1 opening group stage win of the tournament on June 8. Solo had a standout tournament as well, capturing the Golden Glove award for best goalkeeper. She played all 630 minutes of the tournament in goal for the USWNT, recorded five clean sheets, and allowed just three goals in seven matches.

The match at CenturyLink Field will be the fifth on the USWNT’s Victory Tour. The U.S. Women’s National Team has not played in Seattle since 2002, when it played a CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup match at Safeco Field.

“The support for Seattle Reign FC has been incredible, especially after the World Cup win by the US Women’s National Team in July,” said Bill Predmore, owner of Seattle Reign FC. “With this support we believe Seattle showed they deserved a place on the USWNT Victory Tour, giving fans their first chance to see the US Women’s National Team play in Seattle in over a dozen years.”

“Seattle is a great soccer town with a long history of supporting its local clubs and our national teams,” said Sunil Gulati, President of the U.S. Soccer Federation. “Over the last three years the Seattle Reign have done a tremendous job of giving fans in Seattle the chance to experience world-class women’s soccer on a regular basis, giving us confidence that there will be significant interest when the U.S. Women’s National Team plays Brazil in Seattle this October."

Fans interested in placing a deposit on 2016 Season Tickets should visit or they can call (855) REIGN-FC. Despite record-breaking attendance this season, Reign FC will not raise ticket prices for the upcoming season. To accommodate expected increases in attendance for the 2016 season, the club will open up the lower level of the south grandstand at Memorial Stadium.
