Bonney Lake-Sumner Little League is Williamsport-bound.

Landon Teafoe homered, starting pitcher Gavin Heacox tossed 3 ⅓ strong innings, and Bonney Lake-Sumner Little League cruised past Beaverton (OR) in Friday night’s Northwest Regional Championship, 6-1, to punch the ultimate ticket for the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.

Andrew Madsden twirled 2 ⅔ shutout relief innings and induced the game-ending fielder’s choice to second base, completing a dominant three-game stretch in the San Bernardino, Calif-based regional tournament from Aug. 3-8.

Bonney Lake-Sumner toppled Alaska 17-5 on Aug. 3 and plated a tournament-high 20 runs in an Aug. 5 win over Oregon. Chaos ensued in the form of an infield dogpile when Madsden slammed Friday night’s door, ensuring a magical run continues to Little League’s biggest stage.

Teafoe finished 2-for-3 with a home run, run scored, and three RBI. Sawyer Breed and Mason Woods (2-for-3) added doubles, the loudest of Bonney Lake-Sumner’s 12 hits.

Heacox surrendered one hit and one earned run over 3 ⅓ strong frames, walking three and striking out two. He threw 56 pitches, 35 for strikes.

Bonney Lake-Sumner joins a 12U field of 20 teams — 10 United States teams and 10 International teams — in Williamsport from Aug. 13-24. The program based out of Allan Yorke Park opens their tournament on Aug. 15 with a Mountain/Great Lakes regional winner, streamed on ESPN.com/watch and ESPN+ at 12 p.m. PDT.
