Virtual reality International Space Station experience extends stay in Tacoma
People in the Tacoma area who want to take a virtual visit to the International Space Station still have a chance as THE INFINITE has extended its stay.
THE INFINITE announced that the virtual reality experience will be in the Tacoma area until Sept. 5.
“Following the extreme success in Montreal and Houston and now Tacoma, we have decided to extend its run to ensure all audiences have the opportunity to enjoy this unique and awe-inspiring space installation,” said Felix Lajeunesse, co-creator of THE INFINTE.
THE INFINITE’S tour started at the end of 2021 and will continue until 2026 with the experience stopping in three cities per year. Tacoma is the second city in the United States THE INFINITE has visited. It began its run in Tacoma in May.
Through virtual reality, guests can explore the ISS in a 60-minute experience.
THE INFINITE is at the Tacoma Armory, 1001 S. Yakima Ave., Suite 1.
Tickets are available online through Sept. 5 and can be found at theinfiniteseattle.com.
THE INFINITE is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday is the only day the experience is closed.
