Lessons and 3-D shoot offered at Skookum Archery Club

If learning or taking up archery has been on your radar, then you'll want to check out programs offered by Skookum Archery Club, 11209 Shaw Road, Puyallup. Introductory group archery lessons are offered 6-7:30 and 7:30-9 p.m. Thursdays. Cost is $5; online signup is required. If you're a seasoned archer, then try your hand at the 3-D Archery where you will walk through the woods taking aim at more than 28 life-size targets. It is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday and cost is $10.

Free job fair with Tacoma Public Schools

If you’re interested in job opportunities with the Tacoma Public Schools then come out for the Annual Classified Job Fair from 2-6 p.m. Thursday. The free event provides information of positions that may be right for you. It is being held at Gray Middle School, 6229 S Tyler St, Tacoma. Dr. Barry Kerzin, physician to the Dalai Lama talks at UW Tacoma

Meet and listen to Dr. Barry Kerzin, physician to the Dalai Lama, the founder and chairman of the Human Values Institute in Japan in a talk at William Wl Philip Hall, University of Washington Tacoma, 1918 Pacific Ave., Tacoma. He teaches compassion and secular ethics in medical schools and universities around the world including a TEDx talk on happiness and has authored and contributed chapters for several books. Broadway Flea market offers European style of shopping

“Guys and Dolls” in final week with ASTRA musical production
