Japanese superstar will kick off North American leg of her 2025 world tour in Tacoma

Japanese superstar Ado announced dates for her 2025 world tour “Hibana,” which includes a North American leg that will kick off in Tacoma.

Ado, a 22-year-old Utaite, a Japanese term for someone covering Vocaloid songs with their real voice, is set to start her second world tour in Tokyo in April and will make her way through over 30 cities worldwide, including Tacoma.

The singer, who’s identity is a mystery, gained mainstream popularity in 2020 for her single “Usseewa” and is set to perform at the Tacoma Dome on July 10.

Ado’s second world tour is powered by Crunchyroll, a global anime brand, and could become one of the biggest world tours ever organized by a Japanese artist, according to a Tacoma Dome event release. This world tour comes just one year after the end of her first world tour titled “Wish,” that featured 10 shows across Asia and Europe and four shows in North America.

Ado fans who weren’t able to attend any of the four North American shows during her first world tour or new fans who wish to see her live now have another opportunity.

Tickets for her “Hibana” 2025 world tour go on sale next week.

Crunchyroll fans can use the code “CrunchyrollxAdo” to purchase tickets during the pre-sale, which will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m., according to the Crunchyroll website. This pre-sale will end on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 11:59 p.m.

General pre-sale on Ticketmaster will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. and will end on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 11:59 p.m.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. at the Heritage Bank Box Office at the Tacoma Dome and online on the Ticketmaster website.
