Imagine Dragons brings concert and art to the Tacoma Dome
Known for the mega-hit “Radioactive, award-winning Imagine Dragons, is stopping at the Tacoma Dome Friday during their Smoke + Mirrors tour. It’s more than just a concert, the band has collaborated with album artist Tim Cantor to bring art, music and tech together in a special art gallery featured at the show. All concert-goers have access to the gallery of a collection of album inspired artwork by Tim Cantor. The concert is at 7:30 p.m. with tickets starting at $26.59. Get yours through Ticketmaster.
Stringband music by Tallboys at Heritage Park in Sumner
Don’t miss the final concert of the Music Off Main series when the Tallboys perform at 6:30 p.m. Based in Seattle, the group performs traditional stringband music. Come out to Heritage Park, 914 Kincaid Ave, Sumner. Bring your lawn chair and blankets for a night of music.
Sci-fi lovers experience Galacticon 4 in Seattle
Fans of “Battlestar Galactica” will want to come out for Galacticon 4, a the three-day convention at Seattle Center. There will be panels, presentations, vendors, autograph sessions, exhibitions, toys and more. It’s eveything a sci-fi lover would want to experience. Hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. A day pass is $30 and a weekend pass is $90. To get the details, go to galacticon.org.

If you’re a dog lover make plans to come out for Amazing Animals: Secrets of Therapy and Service Dog Training Revealed, a free event at the Fife Library, 6622 20th St. E. Dana Babb of Paws-Abilities, with 40 years of experience training dogs will share and answer questions. It is at 4 p.m. Friday.
