Another Original ‘Baywatch' Star Is Reprising Their Role in Upcoming Reboot
The "Baywatch" reboot just got a little more nostalgic with another familiar face heading back to the beach.
Erika Eleniak, who originally played lifeguard Shauni McClain in the early seasons of the hit series, is officially returning for the upcoming Fox reboot. The actress shared the news herself on Wednesday on Instagram, celebrating the full-circle moment.
"I'm so excited! I can't wait to bring Shauni back to Baywatch!" she wrote. "I'm also excited to meet the new cast and catch up with David Chokachi who's bringing back Cody. Let's go!"
Eleniak becomes the second original cast member confirmed to reprise their role, joining Chokachi, who played Cody Madison in the original run. The show famously catapulted the careers of Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff.
It's safe to say fans were ecstatic about the news.
