People Betting on These Actors To Be James Bond-There's Clear Front-runner

Speculation around the next James Bond has reached a new level and for punters using prediction market Kalshi, one name is leading the pack.

Callum Turner currently sits far ahead of the rest of the field. As shown on the betting platform, Turner holds 47 percent of the bets, making him the clear front-runner to become the next 007. He is trading at 47 cents for “yes” and 57 cents for “no,” reflecting the strong confidence many bettors have in his chances.

In total, $634,563 has been wagered so far, with prices ranging from 2 to 99 cents and overall market interest sitting at 3.25 percent.

A Rise That's Been Building for Months

The betting trend shows how momentum has gradually shifted toward Turner. When betting first opened in January 2025, Taylor-Johnson was the favorite with 54 percent. By June 2025, Elordi began picking up traction at 15.4 percent.

In September 2025, Turner entered the conversation with 14.6 percent-and his probability has climbed steadily ever since. Turner peaked in January this year at 63.8 percent, before settling into his current leading position.

Reports outside the betting market have only fueled speculation. Turner, 35, has reportedly told friends that he is set to take on the role. One source claimed: “He's been blabbing all over town. Callum is the new Bond, it's been confirmed. Everyone in his circle is talking about it. It's the worst-kept secret going.”

The Main Challengers

Jacob Elordi is Turner's strongest rival on Kalshi, holding 24 percent of bets. Elordi is trading at 26 cents for “yes” and 76 cents for “no.” Aaron Taylor-Johnson follows with 20 percent, trading at 20 cents for “yes” and 82 cents for “no.”

List of Actors People Are Betting on

According to Kalshi, the prediction market lists a long lineup of potential Bond contenders beyond the leading trio.

Josh O'Connor follows with 11 percent, while Harris Dickinson, Henry Cavill, Regé-Jean Page, Richard Madden and Theo James are each sitting at 5 percent.

Charlie Hunnam and Idris Elba are close behind at 4 percent, with James Norton, Jonathan Bailey, Tom Hardy and Tom Holland all tied at 3 percent.

Further down the list are Cillian Murphy and Jack Lowden at 2 percent, followed by Aaron Pierre and Damson Idris on 1 percent, while Scott Rose-Marsh currently sits at less than 1 percent.

What Happens Next?

While Turner leads both betting markets and online speculation, no official announcement has been made. Bond casting has historically been unpredictable, full of false starts and surprises.

For now, though, the numbers tell a clear story: bettors believe Turner is the man most likely to step into cinema's most famous tuxedo next.
