Katie Holmes Quietly Fuels Joshua Jackson Relationship Speculation

Katie Holmes has fans talking after a subtle social media post involving former boyfriend and longtime co-star Joshua Jackson.

The actress recently shared a post celebrating their reunion in the upcoming film "Happy Hours," and eagle-eyed followers quickly noticed Holmes, 47, had liked several comments suggesting the two should rekindle their romance.

The April 16 Instagram post featured a photo of Holmes wrapping her arms around Jackson, 47, as the pair smiled for the camera. "We are so thrilled to be a part of the Tribeca Film Festival this June with our film Happy Hours. So many beautiful people worked on this project. And working with Josh again was a dream," she wrote in the caption.

While that message alone stirred nostalgia, among the comments she reportedly liked were one fan's suggestion that "They should be a couple," while another hoped the post was "a hard launch" of a romantic reunion.

Holmes and Jackson famously dated during the early years of "Dawson’s Creek," with their off-screen romance taking place between 1998 and 1999. Though the relationship ended, the pair continued working together on the hit WB series until it wrapped in 2003.

And both stars have had high-profile relationships since. Holmes famously married Tom Cruise in 2006, and the former couple welcomed daughter Suri before divorcing in 2012. Jackson later married Jodie Turner-Smith in 2019, and they share one daughter together. Turner-Smith filed for divorce in 2023 - meaning they are both currently single.

The former co-stars also reunited in person just days before the Instagram post, appearing together at the New York Gala screening of Brunello: The Gracious Visionary on April 14.
