HGTV Star Stuns in Tropical Getaway Outfit and Fans Cannot Believe She's Turning 50
Whoever decided that beauty was synonymous with youth has clearly never truly looked at a woman in her golden years. Time and time again, stunning older women prove that age is nothing but a number-especially when their aura just exudes youthfulness. Whether they are embracing their gray hair or refusing to "dress their age," these women are everything society tells them they can't be.

The latest evidence that this is true? HGTV's very own Egypt Sherrod, who recently posed for a few photos with her husband, Mike Jackson, and their daughters while on a tropical vacation. Wearing a stunning, flowy tank top and trendy jean shorts, the mom reflected on life and her hopes for herself as she enters her 50th year, which she celebrates in November.
"As I begin this walk toward my 50th year, I feel both a sadness and a peace," Sherrod wrote in her Instagram caption. "I find myself grieving the things I've not yet experienced, yet have a warm peace because I've still got so much life in me to do them. So let's go, ya'll...This next chapter isn't about achievement; it's about skipping, laughing, dancing, and freedom."
The post comes just days after the pair announced they are filming two new shows, Home Abroad with Egypt and Mike and Deserving Design, set to be released later in 2026.
"For those who have watched us for years, they know we believe in giving back and paying it forward," Sherrod told USA Today in a recent interview. "That is what we are passionate about. At the core, these projects speak to our desire to help people, to build legacy, and to use real estate and design to build impact."

While fans are, of course, happy to hear about Sherrod's success on screen, they couldn't stop gushing over her gorgeous look in the comments of her saucy Instagram post.
"This is what I have to look forward to at 50, I'll take it," wrote one fan.
"Looking amazing while enjoying all that sunshine! Keep smiling," added another.
"Looking fabulous!!! 50's is the new 40's. Celebrate yourself today and every day," compliments a third.
Sherrod has not yet revealed which network her two new shows will be airing on.
