Cirie Fields Shares Emotional Tribute After Ozzy Lusth's 'Survivor 50' Exit: 'Most Genuine Soul'

Cirie Fields is joining the Survivor fandom in mourning the loss of Ozzy Lusth on Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans.

Lusth was voted out during the Wednesday, May 6 episode of the series, despite possessing a hidden immunity idol that could've spared him from elimination. Season 50 marked his 5th time playing Survivor, and his second time leaving the game with an idol in his pocket.

The next day, Fields-Lusth's most loyal ally-penned an emotional tribute via Instagram.

"20+ years of outwitting, outplaying, outlasting… and somehow still staying one of the most genuine souls to ever step foot on that island. ❤️," Fields wrote. "Watching Ozzy Lusth play Survivor has always been incredible-the strength, the determination, the resilience, and the passion he brought season after season is something truly special. So many unforgettable moments, so many challenges conquered, and a legacy that will forever be part of Survivor history. 🌴🔥."

"But beyond the competitor everyone sees, I'm just grateful to have met the person behind it all. Kind, adventurous, humble, and always unapologetically himself. It's rare to meet people who leave such a lasting impact both on and off the island," she continued. "Cheers to everything you've accomplished over these 20+ years, Ozzy. Thank you for the memories, the inspiration, and for being such an unforgettable part of this crazy Survivor journey. Much love always. ❤️🙌🏾."

In the comment section, a couple of Fields and Lusth's Survivor 50 co-stars offered their support.

"Two of the greatest humans right there," wrote Dee Valladares. "🥹🥹🫶🏾🫶🏾🩷🩷 love yall!!!" added Tiffany Nicole Ervin.

Survivor 50 marked the fifth time Fields and Lusth have played Survivor as well as their third time playing together, following 2008's MicronesiaFans vs. Favorites and 2017's Game Changers. In her post, Fields included snapshots of their 18 years playing the game together as tribe mates and allies.

Since Lusth's elimination occurred during a split tribal council, fans will have to wait until the Wednesday, May 13 episode to see Fields' reaction to Lusth's exit. Until this point, the pair plus newcomer Rizo Velovic appeared to be running the season.

Though Fields is still in contention for 50, both are among fans' top choices for the best Survivor players to never win.
