Prime Video renews Alan Ritchson's 'Reacher' for Season 5
May 12 (UPI) -- Prime Video has renewed Alan Ritchson's Reacher for Season 5, ahead of the action-drama's fourth season premiere.
Ritchson plays the title character, a former military police officer who lives off the grid traveling the country and helping strangers in need.
Each season features a primarily new cast of characters and setting.
Season 4 is based on the book, Gone Tomorrow, and will co-star Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Roberston.
The premiere date has not been announced yet.
"From Lee Child's globally beloved novels to its standout on-screen adaptation, Reacher has evolved into a true powerhouse franchise," Peter Friedlander, head of global television at Amazon MGM Studios, said in a statement Monday.
"The series' ability to combine high-octane action with compelling character storytelling continues to resonate with tens of millions of viewers around the world. We're excited to move forward with a fifth season ahead of Season 4's debut and to build on this incredible momentum."
