OCTOPinbs Gets Free Costume Update With Chef Fits, Poolside Gear, And New Emotes

OCTOPinbs, the firefighting social deduction game from tri-Ace, Lasengle, and Aniplex, has a free cosmetic update out now on Steam. The COSTUME2 DLC adds two new outfits, matching gear sets, and five new emotes for the game's roster of octopus firefighters and squid artists, free for all owners of the game. What's in the COSTUME2 DLC

The COSTUME2 DLC comes with two new outfits: The Chef's Hat and Outfit are fitting for the game's inclination with fire. The Swimwear outfit comes paired with the Pooltime Hose Set, showcasing a playful contrast of swimming in a sea of fire. Five new emotes round out the pack, covering communication, callouts, and general in-match chaos.

OCTOPinbs launched on Steam on May 11, 2026 for $9.99. It's a social deduction game built around cooperative firefighting: three to ten players join a team of octopus firefighters responding to a blaze in a building. The catch is that some players are secretly squid arsonists, working against the team by fueling the fire instead of fighting it.

It's like Among Us with the aesthetics of Splatoon and a dash of Luigi's Mansion.

The COSTUME2 DLC is available now as a free download for OCTOPinbs owners on Steam. The base game is $9.99.
