‘All in the Family' Star Sally Struthers, 78, Is Still a Blonde TV Icon in Rare Social Media Appearance
Sally Struthers may be best known for her role on All in the Family, but the beloved actress also has a major following thanks to her role on Gilmore Girls.
Struthers, 78, rose to stardom as Gloria Stivic, the daughter of Archie and Edith Bunker, on the iconic TV sitcomAll in the Family. Her character, who was married to Michael "Meathead" Stivic, played by Rob Reiner, will always be known as a piece of TV history. An active voice-over artist, Struthers is still appearing onscreen and currently stars alongside Ted Danson on Netflix's A Man on the Inside. But in a rare social media appearance, Struthers reunited with one of her former co-stars from another much-loved show: Gilmore Girls!
Smiling up at the camera with her trademark blonde, wavy hair sitting on her shoulders, Struthers stood alongside Rose Abdoo, who played Gypsy, the local mechanic on Gilmore Girls. Struthers, of course, played Babette, a neighbor of Lorelai and Rory in the sweet town of Stars Hollow.
"Today was A lovely & always hilarious visit with dear Sally Struthers🩵💙& our dear friend @markcocanougher gifted me with a festival of turbans from comedy icon Carole Cook! 💜," Abdoo captioned her fun photo.

Struthers Explained Why She Stays Single
Last year, Struthers opened up about her decision to stay single after getting divorced from her husband in 1983.
"I constantly put my blinders on and got into horrible relationships," she shared with Woman's World. "I'm going to focus on my family, my friends, my career-and I've never, ever missed having a love life."
A mom of a daughter, Samantha, Struthers also noted that her nephew Matt, his wife, and their son Kai live with her. She's perfectly happy with the arrangement.
"We have become such a tight unit of family," she added. "We respect and love one another, laugh and cry together-and it's better than being married."
