skate. Is Finally Bringing Back This Fan-Favorite Trick in Season 4

EA and Full Circle have officially pulled back the curtain on skate. Season 4, and it looks like the biggest update yet for the long-awaited skateboarding revival.

Launching June 2 and running through August 25, Season 4 introduces a new skateable arena, expanded live events, additional social features, and a partnership with X Games that will close out the summer in San Vansterdam. The update continues Full Circle's push to blend real-world skate culture into the game, following the popular Nike SB collaboration introduced during Season 3.

At the center of the update is Lucre Financial Stadium, better known by players as "The Chum Bucket." Located in Brickswich, the new area serves as the main venue for the returning San Van Open, a citywide event that unfolds across the entire season.

Players with the Premium Pass will get early access to the stadium from June 2 through July 7. After that, access can be unlocked through either the Premium Pass or a purchasable Day Pass using Rip Chips earned through gameplay challenges.

Season 4 also introduces a new limited-time mode called X Games Spot Battles. Arriving mid-season, the mode turns skating into a multi-round competition where players face off in high-pressure, turn-based challenges.

For longtime fans, one of the biggest additions may be the return of finger flips. Full Circle says the classic trick category is coming back with far more variations than previous entries in the franchise, giving street skating an extra layer of creativity.

Outside of gameplay, Season 4 expands progression through a new 110-tier skate.Pass featuring both free and premium reward tracks, brand integrations, and up to 1,500 earnable San Van Bucks.

The update also introduces Friend Codes, making it easier for players to connect, skate together, and share clips across San Van as the city continues evolving throughout the summer.
