Taylor Swift Gushes Over Paul McCartney's New Album
Taylor Swift is firmly in the pop music space, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate some legendary classic rock.
Amid Swift promoting her new song for “Toy Story 5,” which is dropping later this week, the future wife of Travis Kelce also took to social media to pay tribute to a classic rock artist who she says inspires her.
On Tuesday night, June 2, Swift took to her Instagram Story to give major props to Beatles legend Paul McCartney on his new album, “The Boys of Dungeon Lane,” which arrived on Friday, May 29. In addition to posting McCartney’s post about the album to give it some promo, Swift also added her own message, stating, “Never not inspired by this eternally exceptional artist,” with a bicep emoji.

“The Boys of Dungeon Lane” takes inspiration from Sir Paul’s childhood and the early days with the Beatles, and one of the shining moments on the set is a duet with Beatles drummer Ringo Starr on the song “Home to Us.” What took these guys so long to do another song together, right?
Speaking with The Guardian, McCartney talked about the loss of his other two bandmates, John Lennon and George Harrison. He said it still hurts.

“My collaborator was probably one of the best writers of the century, so, yeah, you’re going to miss him,” he said in the interview, adding, “but that’s life. You lose people.”
It’s so great to see Swift pay tribute to one of the greatest voices ever in rock music. “The Boys of Dungeon Lane” is available now wherever you get your music.
