Look: Lauren Ambrose, Tom Riley to star in NYC stage play 'Unbelievers'

June 11 (UPI) --Six Feet Under, Servant and Yellowjackets actress Lauren Ambrose is to lead the cast of the Manhattan Theatre Club's production of The Unbelievers.

Down Cemetery Road and Da Vinci's Demons alum Tom Riley is to co-star in the show, which is to begin performances on Oct. 13 at New York City Center Stage

Nick Payne wrote the play and Knud Adams is on board to direct.

"Faith means believing in something. Especially when it feels impossible," MTC said in a synopsis.

"As the years go by and the mystery of the sudden disappearance of Miriam (Ambrose) and David's (Riley) teenage son remains unsolved, their blended family must figure out how to go on, relearning how to live through the ups and downs of ordinary days in their altered world."
