Watch: Colin Farrell says 'The Batman: Part II' script is 'amazing'
June 16 (UPI) --Colin Farrell says the script for The Batman: Part II is "amazing."
The Irish actor, 50, discussed the film during Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Farrell, who stars as Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, in the HBO Max series The Penguin, will reprise the role in the upcoming Batman sequel starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, aka Batman.
"I've only got a couple of scenes, but the script is, script is amazing," Farrell said. "Which is great that I only have a couple of scenes because it means the film isn't ruined for me. I can watch it now as an audience member."
The actor confirmed he has read the whole script from director Matt Reeves and Mattson Tomlin.
"They were kind enough to give me the whole script and not just the pages I was in. It's extraordinary," he added. "I'll just say it's really, really good."
The Batman: Part II also stars Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent, Scarlett Johansson as Harvey's wife Gilda Dent and Charles Dance as his father Charles Dent. The movie opens in 2027.
Farrell also stars as detective John Sugar in Sugar Season 2, which premieres Friday on Apple TV.
