Spider-Man: Brand New Day Fans Can Unlock a Unique Spidey Experience Ahead of the Movie

Spider-Man fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, hitting theaters on July 31, and a brand-new collaboration between Sony Pictures and Samsung is now offering fans a unique, immersive experience ahead of the movie.

Announced on June 16, this new collaboration puts a Spidey Tracker in the hands of fans, allowing them to locate and keep track of Spider-Man in an interactive campaign.

This immersive fan experience has a direct tie-in to Brand New Day, as audiences will soon see Peter Parker's best friend and "guy in the chair" himself, Ned Leeds, using a Spidey Tracker very similar to this one on the big screen. In the movie, Ned will track Spider-Man on his Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Watch, and while the real-life version has been slightly adapted for fan use, it will still bring this movie concept to life.

Fans can access the real-world Spidey Tracker, powered by Samsung Galaxy and created by Ned, on SpideyTracker.com, where they will also find a video from Ned himself (played by Jacob Batalon), explaining how the tracker works. The website is already live, and fans can begin tracking Spider-Man tomorrow, June 17, at 3 p.m. ET. In addition to the custom website, this exciting new campaign will comprise a host of online and real-world events and experiences.

Along with the beloved web-slinger's appearance in various creator videos, fans can expect to see Spider-Man at live events and venues at myriad locations throughout the world.

The many opportunities tied to the campaign will include cast appearances and interviews, Easter eggs, content drops and thrilling live activations. Fans can also engage with an online community via @SpideyTracker on X.

Brand New Day is on track to be a smash hit this summer, and while it's difficult to wait for this highly anticipated new installment in the larger Spider-Man franchise, the immersive Spidey Tracker is one way great for fans to engage and get ready.
