Student chamber music

The University of Puget Sound’s Student Chamber Music Ensembles will be performing two different concerts in one evening at 6 and 8 p.m. Monday. It’s being held at Schneebeck Concert Hall, 1500 N. Warner St., Tacoma and it is free. Go to pugetsound.edu/calendar or call 253-879-3555.

Student art exhibit at UPS

Kittredge Gallery presents the Art Students Annual Exhibit on display through Dec. 12. Come out to see the local student talent at the gallery on the University of Puget Sound campus, 1500 N. Warner St., Tacoma.

History of naval tattoos

Hear Megan Churchwell, curator at the Puget Sound Navy Museum, present “The Naval Heritage of Tattoos” in a talk at noon Tuesday. She explores how modern tattoo culture is rooted in the nautical world. Vinyl Cafe at Paramount Theatre

Heard by more than 2 million people each week on CBC radio in Canada, public radio in the United States and on Sirius radio, The Vinyl Cafe brings its Christmas Tour to the Paramount Theatre, 911 Pine St., Seattle. Stuart McLean and Vinyl Cafe have been a holiday tradition in Seattle for 10 years. This year’s performance will feature two new Dave & Morley stories and new music.
