Zoolights aglow
Bundle up and make it a night of enchantment at the annual Zoolights display at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. With a half-milliong lights, the display includes a rock crab, underwater landscape and more, while you get a chance to explore the South Pacific Aquarium or a ride a camel. Drive-through Fantasy Lights
Stay warm in your car and enjoy Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Lake Park, 14905 Bresemann Blvd S., Spanaway. The lighted display is synched with music for a festive time for the family. It is open 5:30-9:30 p.m. For more information, go to co.pierce.wa.us/index.aspx?NID= 1253.
Classical Sundays concert
The Classical Sundays concert series is in full swing at the Antique Sandwich Company, 5102 N. Pearl St., Tacoma. Weekly there will be performances from various local artists at 3 p.m. This week features Chamber Music Ensemble with flute, violin, cello and piano. The concerts will continue through Dec. 20. Admission is free, a donation is requested.
“Sound of Music” at 5th Ave.
Billed as one of the most beloved musicals, “The Sound of Music” has been capturing audiences on stage since long before the film version in 1965. Experience the fully staged production of this classic Broadway musical at the 5th Avenue Theatre, 1308 Fifth Ave., Seattle. The show continues through Jan. 3.
