Mountain film festival at Rialto
Bringing the spirit of outdoor adventure and mountain culture to film, the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will be coming to the Rialto Theater, 310 S. Ninth St., Tacoma for two nights. Different films will be shown each night —6:45 p.m. Monday and Tuesday— featuring the best of mountain films this year. Tickets are $20 a night or $37 for two nights. Non-traditional holiday plays in Lacey
Readers Theater Unlimited will performs three short non-traditional Christmas plays: “Who Shot Santa Claus?,” “The Gift of the Magi — The Untold Story,” and “The Turn of the Scrooge” plus a funny monologue and an updated “The Night Before Christmas” at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.
