In a nostalgic night reminiscent of classic holiday television specials, Ye Olde Merry Holiday TV Spectacular variety show is taped live before the studio audience. Enjoy a diverse lineup of songs, dances, stories and comedy. 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Theatre on the Square, 915 Broadway, Tacoma. $19-$49. Enjoy the stage production of “Sleeping Beauty An English Holiday Panto” performed at the Knutzen Family Theatre, 3200 S.W. Dash Point Road, Federal Way. The Pantos classic genre features stock comic routines, ancient traditions, hilariously bad jokes and songs drawn from today’s hits. And of course, somewhere mixed up in all of this is the beloved story of the beautiful young girl cursed to sleep for 100 years. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
