Tibetan tour
Discover the beauty and tradition of Tibetan monks when the Mystical Arts of Tibet Tour comes to the University of Puget Sound. Buddhist monks have been creating a colored sand painting of a mandela on the main floor of the Collins Memorial Library on campus this week, to be completed on Saturday. The display is free and open to the public from 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday (March 4) and 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday. In conjunction with the sand mandela, the monks will be performing “Sacred Music Sacred Dance for World Healing,” a multiphonic musical performance at 2 p.m. Saturday in Schneebeck Concert Hall on campus. Tickets for the show are $6 general public and free to campus members. Tickets are available at tickets.pugetsound.edu, at the Wheelock Information Center or 253-879-3100.

Off-road match
For all you off-roaders and 4x4 lovers, make plans to take in the 4x4 Offroad and High Performance Meet at Washington State Fair Events Center, 110 Ninth Ave. SW, Puyallup. There will be new and used 4-wheel drive parts for sale, displays, vendors and a swap meet at the Spanaway Moonshiners Jeep Club-sponsored event. Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday with admission of $10. Enter at the Blue Gate.

G.I. jive
Come out for a celebration of the songs that kept the G.I.s jiving and the homefront hopeful through World War II when the musical duo Karen Haas and Debi Rinehart come together to perform “Keep Calm & Carry a Song” at 10 a.m. Friday. As part of the 2016 Learning is ForEver lineup, the period performance will be at the Scandinavian Cultural Center on the Pacific Luthrean University Campus. Camping cool
Join the PNW Coleman Collectors Display, where vintage Coleman lanterns, stoves, coolers, jugs and irons will be on display at the Best Western Plus Lacey Inn & Suites, 8326 Quinault Drive NE, Lacey. If you have an old non-working Coleman appliance bring it out for the experts/collectors to help you get it working. It’s a fun family event from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. It free and open to the public.

Poetry slam
In a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, ArtsWA and the Poetry Foundation, this year’s Poetry Out Loud Washington state final competition will be held at Theatre on the Square, 915 Broadway, Tacoma. The poetry recitation competition encourages youth to learn about great poetry through memorization and performance. Bieber fever
With new hit singles, “Sorry” and “Love Yourself,” along with his numerous hits over the years, Justin Bieber continues to produce, write and perform. On his “Purpose” world tour, he perform at KeyArena, 305 Harrison Ave., Seattle, at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tickets start at $46.50 and are available through Ticketmaster.

Prine time
From his first LP release in 1971, John Prine has continued to write and perform classics like “Angel from Montgomery,” “Sam Stone,” “Paradise” and “Hello in There.” He has been considered a songwriter’s songwriter whose works have been performed by Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, John Denver and Carly Simon, to name a few. Bike is back
Featuring the best of biking, with more than 126 exhibitors, speakers and presenters, the annual Seattle Bike Show takes over CenturyLink Field Event Center this weekend.
