Mondays — Fridays

Kittredge Gallery “Retro Colby and Under Construction” works by Bill Colby and 2016 graduate residents. Exhibit through Sept. 24. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, noon-5 p.m. Saturdays. North 15th and Lawrence streets, Tacoma.

Friday

Habitat Restoration Work Regular stewardship activities caring for the park by removing invasive plant species, re-planting areas with native plants and helping those plants thrive. Children must be accompanied by adults. 9 a.m.-noon Friday. Tacoma Nature Center, 1919 S. Tyler St., Tacoma. Free. 253-591-6439, tacomanaturecenter.org.

Ellensburg Rodeo The four-day event culminates with the Labor Day Monday championship finals. The rodeo runs in conjunction with the Kittitas County Fair, already in full swing. Times are 6:45 p.m. Friday (Sept. 2), 12:45 p.m. Saturday, 11:45 a.m. Sunday and Sunday. Go to ellensburgrodeo.com for all the events, including the fair.
