Free ‘Elf’ at The Grand

Catch a free family screening of “Elf,” the Christmas favorite starring Will Ferrell as the hapless elf Buddy. There will be free doughnuts for the first 50 people.

Sumner’s ACT1 Theater, now performing in Puyallup’s historic Liberty Theater, offers a different and very relevant kind of holiday drama: “Another Night Before Christmas,” where social worker Karol brings a transient into her home to warm up on Christmas Eve and finds herself trapped with a “Mr. Claus,” seesawing between cynicism and belief.
