Diners in Spanaway and Parkland might have noticed that the closures of Krickett’s Family Restaurant and Blitz Public House happened right around the same time.

That’s not a coincidence. It’s a restaurant move.

The two restaurant and bars are located a few blocks apart on Pacific Avenue South.

Owners of Blitz Public House did not provide additional details but confirmed that Krickett’s Family Restaurant is taking over its restaurant space at 14422 Pacific Ave. S.

Krickett’s Family Restaurant closed in February and announced last week that the restaurant is working to remodel the Blitz Public House space and hopes to open in March.

As for the former Krickett’s Family Restaurant space at 14815 Pacific Ave. S., a construction fence has gone up around the site.

MultiCare is the new owner of the property.

Marce Edwards, spokeswoman for MultiCare, said the property was purchased for future medical services development.
