TNT Diner

$20 lunch, $40 dinner: Our picks for the best deals during Tacoma Restaurant Week

A dozen restaurants will offer three-course meal deals in honor of Tacoma Restaurant Week’s Fall 2022 edition, Oct. 16-20 and Oct. 23-27.

Organized by Northwest Military and Weekly Volcano since 2008, the program enlists local restaurants to serve lunch and dinner at a discount, an effort it hopes draws attention to each business and the area’s culinary offerings.

The Spring 2022 week covered 10 days over a two-week period, Sunday through Thursday. The adjusted format allows more flexibility in menu planning. Previously, restaurants had to offer a $30 deal, but several menus included $50-$60 prix fixe.

The 12 participants this time range from high-end Italian to Pacific Northwest cuisine, casual steakhouse to eclectic bistro fare.

Deals, priced per person, start at $15 for lunch and rise to $50 for dinner. Note that some restaurants are closed Sundays and Mondays, which means their deals are only available Tuesday-Thursday.

Here are TNT Diner’s picks (in alphabetical order) for best-value options during Tacoma Restaurant Week, based on the cost of a typical meal at these restaurants.
