Popular Tacoma soup joint announces seasonal closure, summer hours

Tacoma locals will have to find another soup supplier for a little while this summer.

Infinite Soups announced Monday that it’ll be closed the first two weeks of July and is changing up its schedule for the rest of the summer.

“It’s that time again! Summer approaches and you guys know what that means, our work ethic climbs into a inner tube and floats down the river with a cooler full of beer. Hammocks and afternoon siesta’s start calling our names, and spending an evening in a lawn chair chucking a ball for the dogs is the most worthwhile of pursuits,” Infinite Soups posted on Facebook.

The cash-only soup joint will also be closed on Saturdays until September and will close anytime it reaches 90 degrees inside.

Hours also might shift for other reasons, so Infinite Soups encouraged customers to check its Facebook page before coming in.

Facebook is also how Infinite Soups publicizes the soup varieties of the day, split up into creamy, non-creamy, vegan and vegetarian categories.
