From seafood to steakhouses, here’s where to celebrate Father’s Day in Tacoma
It’s almost Father’s Day, and many local restaurants are doing it up for dad this year.
There’s something for everyone, whether the family is looking for a special brunch, a seafood dinner or a classic steakhouse experience.
Here are eight restaurants to check out this Father’s Day.
Duke’s Seafood

Duke’s will offer a special brunch this Father’s Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dishes include French toast, filet mignon and Crabby Eggs Bene “Duke” with Dungeness crab, along with the special “Dad’s Duketail” Hugo Spritz. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made online.
Stanley & Seafort’s

This restaurant with views of the Tacoma skyline and the harbor is offering a special Father’s Day menu. The three-course meal goes for $62, with starters like New England clam chowder and lobster bisque, entrées like prime rib and black cod, and desserts like cheesecake and key lime pie. Reservations are encouraged and can be made online. Stanley and Seafort’s is also offering to-go packs with either a prime rib or a salmon option. Orders for to-go packs must be placed by Wednesday, June 17.
The Melting Pot

The Melting Pot will offer three- and four-course fondue dinners this Father’s Day ($75 and $65 a person, respectively), plus some other deals. Four-course dinners include cheese and chocolate fondue, salad and entrées, where you pick from meats like garlic pepper steak, shrimp, Memphis dry rub pork and petite filet. For drinks, pints from the newly re-opened Redd Dog Brewing Co. will be $5 all day. Plus, each dad is sent home with a Father’s Day swag bag while supplies last. If dad wants steak, you could try El Gaucho, which will be open two hours earlier than normal on Father’s Day (special hours are 2 to 9 p.m.).
