There will be more space at Saturday’s Gig Harbor Beer Festival, but that doesn’t mean there will be all that many more people. The annual beer festival will take up a bigger footprint of Uptown Gig Harbor, but organizers said they wouldn’t sell “too many more tickets.”

Besides more room to roam, there’s also more brew. Six additional breweries have signed on to the festival, which hopefully will mean that the taps won’t run dry, a problem in past years.

This year’s lineup of 28 breweries reads like the who’s who of South Sound beer geeks. See the list below for the dozen Pierce and Thurston County brewers. The other brewers are from the Seattle-Kitsap area. Also pouring will be Tacoma’s Tilted Tree Hard Cider and Gig Harbor’s Heritage Distilling.

Tickets are $30 in advance, but might sell out. Purchase tickets at Brown Paper Tickets or in person at Gig Harbor Brewing Co., which is owned by John Fosberg, the founder of the beer festival. Wet Coast Brewing in Gig Harbor also will sell tickets.

Here’s a look at what else is happening at the festival:
