Pierce County burn ban lifted
The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency on Saturday lifted the burn ban in Pierce County
The agency said there may be some pollution spikes Saturday night. But it said air quality levels are expected to remain below the triggers for burn bans through Sunday evening.
A stronger weather front is expected by Monday and should ensure better air quality into early next week. There is a small chance that the agency will reissue a burn ban Sunday if pollution levels rise higher than expected Saturday evening.
