Amid record-low temperatures, heavy snow blankets Washington state

The cold temperatures were expected to continue through Monday and ‘unseasonably cold’ temperatures would persist for the rest of the week, the National Weather Service said.
According to the NWS, snowfall was expected to continue until Wednesday.
