MultiCare adds Seattle-based urgent care chain to its system

MultiCare Health System’s urgent care clinics is growing by 14.

The nonprofit Tacoma-based heath system announced Wednesday that Immediate Clinic Seattle, Inc., will become part of MultiCare.

Immediate Clinic’s locations range from Burien to Everett and from Bellevue to Poulsbo.

“Immediate Clinic offers an excellent option for consumers in the Puget Sound area who want quick access to health care that allows them to take care of their families seven days a week,” said Bill Robertson, MultiCare’s CEO, in a statement.

Immediate Clinic’s operations will continue business as usual during the transaction, which is scheduled to be completed in December.

Currently, MultiCare operates 15 urgent care centers, as well as 11 RediClinics inside Rite Aid stores.

In June, MultiCare debuted MultiCare Indigo, a new urgent care system that features concierges and a no-wait policy.

Immediate Clinics are open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.
