Seattle investor pays discounted price for Browns Point strip mall
A Seattle investor has bought Northeast Tacoma’s Browns Point Town Center for $3.8 million.
The strip mall includes Browns Point Diner, Hilltop Indian Restaurant and Pizza Corner, Lumpia World and Lighthouse Market. In January, 1000 Town Center NE LLC paid $3.8 million for the property. State records show that 1000 Town Center NE LLC traces to Seattle real estate investor Matt Herron.
The sale price is a significant discount from when the property last sold. In 2007, Brown’s Point Center Associates LLC bought it for $5.1 million, according to county records.
Attempts to reach the new owner were not successful Monday.
